Xiaomi has likewise known for its battery capacity it provides on its smartphones. With a discharged battery, the smartphone device is just a piece of weight. Hence battery plays an important role in smartphones. Past Xiaomi smartphones like the Redmi Note 4, Redmi 4, Redmi 3s prime comes with a minimum battery capacity of 4000mAh. Hence Redmi Note 5 is also expected to have a minimum battery life of 4000mAh. A thing to notice is that the strong competitors of Redmi Note 5, Honor 7x or Moto G5s plus/Moto G5 plus, none of them come with a battery life of greater than 3500mAh. Hence dual camera in Redmi Note 5 will or less be the same as that of Mi A1.

In spite of the fact that there are bits of gossip that the Redmi 5 Plus will be Redmi Note 5 of India, it is recommended to wait for official announcement. As there are aggressive competitors in the mid-range segment of smartphones, Xiaomi needs to act wisely on it.
